A97 Introduction to Acrylic Painting

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

Discover the vibrant world of acrylic painting. You’ll learn the fundamentals of color mixing, brush techniques, layering, and composition while exploring your own creative voice. Through guided exercises and personal projects, you’ll gain confidence with the medium and develop the skills to start painting with intention and enjoyment. No experience necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to get a little messy!
