BCP3 Bemis Community Printshop: Block Printmaking
Developed in collaboration with the Colorado College Art Department, the Bemis Community Printshop is a space for creative exploration in Colorado Springs! Our goal is to foster a welcoming community where artists of all levels can access professional printmaking facilities and feel inspired to experiment and create. Begin your journey with one of our hands-on workshops—a prerequisite that opens the door to affordable, open studio sessions, where you can keep exploring a variety of printmaking techniques at your own pace.
Level A – All levels welcome.
Please join us for a lively fun day learning how to do block-printmaking. We will be transferring an image to a linoleum block then carving and printing. We will walk away with multiple prints using 1-3 colors. Please bring a sack lunch for 12-12:30 p.m. for a lunch break. There is a material fee of $25 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
Please note: By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to the Fine Art Center Bemis School of Art’s General Policies and Participant Assumption of Risk and Release, including assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, rules and supervision, and photo and media consent.
