Bemis School of Art

This beginner-friendly handbuilding ceramics course is for teens who are curious about working with their hands and exploring 3D art. You will learn the fundamentals of hand-building with clay—pinch, coil, and slab techniques—as well as surface design, glazing, and functional vs. sculptural forms. Whether you are drawn to pottery, sculpture, or design, you will gain a strong foundation in ceramics with room for creativity, experimentation, and personal voice. Supplies will be provided.

Please note: By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to the Fine Art Center Bemis School of Art’s General Policies and Minor Participant Assumption of Risk and Release, including assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, rules and supervision, and photo and media consent.
