Bemis School of Art

This beginner-friendly handbuilding ceramics course for teens who are curious about working with their hands and exploring three-dimensional art. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of hand-building with clay—pinch, coil, and slab techniques—as well as surface design, glazing, and functional vs. sculptural forms. Whether you are drawn to pottery, sculpture, or design, this course offers a solid foundation in ceramics with room for creativity, experimentation, and personal voice. Supplies will be provided.
