A90 Abstract Botanicals

Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of the medium outside of the classroom.

An art journal made in class together will be used to experiment with acrylic paint layering techniques, collage, organic shapes, and mark making with botanical images. The final project will incorporate the discoveries made by art journaling and your signature style into an abstract botanical piece painted on a collaged canvas.
