A79 Portraits in Tempera and Acrylic
Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.
Join us as we learn how to paint a portrait first with tempera paint, and a second portrait with acrylic paint. You will learn about the qualities of both tempera paint, and acrylic paint while learning how to block out, pose, and detail a portrait of choice. Together we will explore the many different ways to paint a portrait, using two different kinds of paint that will empower you to explore more painting for years to come.
Please note: By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to the Fine Art Center Bemis School of Art’s General Policies and Participant Assumption of Risk and Release, including assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, rules and supervision, and photo and media consent.
