A30 Piercing and Carving

Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.

Experience the excitement of creating your own designs for piercing and carving a thrown or hand built vase, bowl, or sphere. Learn to easily transfer your design onto a three-dimensional ceramic form and control clay hydration for the perfect surface to be pierced and carved. Functional or not, the textural and piercing possibilities are endless!
