A89 Sense of Place: Poetry of Places

Level A – All levels welcome.

Practice utilizing poetry as a means of exploring your sense of place. We will each week: the first to introduce you to and lead you through exercises in various poetic forms/styles pertaining to place, and the second to workshop the poetry that you’ve created. We’ll cover forms like haiku, odes, acrostic, and prose poetry to communicate place and apply what you learn to your own poetry.
