C1 Craft Lab: Simple Crochet Coasters

Join us the second Saturday morning of each month for a welcoming, hands-on workshop designed to spark creativity and connect community. The Craft Lab series offers a rotating lineup of engaging, beginner-friendly classes where you’ll learn a new craft in just a couple hours—no prior experience needed. These crafty mornings are all about slowing down, making something meaningful, fueling your creativity, and meeting new people.

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

Join us to create a small, crocheted square that can be used as a coaster. All you need for tools are a size 5.5 mm crochet hook, medium weight cotton yarn, and scissors. You will learn how to make the foundation chain and then the body of the coaster with a simple, single crochet stitch. Some fun finishing options will be discussed, and brainstorming is welcome! There is a material fee of $6 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
