C2 Craft Lab: Embroidery on Photos and Postcards
Join us the second Saturday morning of each month for a welcoming, hands-on workshop designed to spark creativity and connect community. The Craft Lab series offers a rotating lineup of engaging, beginner-friendly classes where you’ll learn a new craft in just a couple hours—no prior experience needed. These crafty mornings are all about slowing down, making something meaningful, fueling your creativity, and meeting new people.
Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.
Learn five simple stitch techniques that are commonly used in embroidery. You will then have a chance to practice your new stitching skills on photographs or postcards. Bring one of your own or one can be provided. We will add some 3D accents for some fun. Let’s sew together! There is a material fee of $25 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
Please note: By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to the Fine Art Center Bemis School of Art’s General Policies and Participant Assumption of Risk and Release, including assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, rules and supervision, and photo and media consent.
