Whether you’re new to art or returning after a break, this class will guide you through creating your own original paintings with confidence. This watercolor course is designed for adults who are new to watercolor or want to refresh foundational skills. You will learn the essential techniques of watercolor painting — from brush control and color mixing to creating washes, textures, and simple compositions. Each class combines demonstrations, hands-on practice, and guided projects. Pastel Landscape with a Watercolor Twist

Join us as we learn to create a colorful pastel landscape that starts with a layer of pastel on watercolor paper that is washed into the paper, creating a beautiful foundational backdrop. From this underpainting, the process of layering the chalk pastels begins with the use of vibrant pastels and fixative sprays creating a pastel painting with depth and detail. You will be able to recreate your choice of landscape into a wonderful colored pastel painting with hands-on instruction with this technique. Supplies will be provided. Ages 13-16

Acrylic Foundations

Join us for these 4 classes where you’ll learn about the qualities of acrylic paint, and the joy of painting with acrylic paint. You will learn how to mix colors, explore different painting techniques, how to form a composition, and more. We will have fun exploring many options of working with acrylic paint on canvas that will keep you painting for a lifetime! Supplies will be provided. Ages 13-16

Spring Into Nature Painting

Celebrate the beauty of spring through painting in this fun, nature-themed class! Young artists will explore color, texture, and composition while learning new painting techniques each week. This class encourages creativity, confidence, and a love of nature while ensuring every child leaves with a finished work of art. Supplies will be provided. Ages 6-9

Mini Masters: Vincent Van Gogh, Henri Matisse, Yayoi Kusama, and Claude Monet 

Young artists will discover the imaginative worlds of four iconic artists who transformed how we see art, nature, and storytelling. Through painting, printmaking, and mixed media, students will learn to think like an artist and create their own artwork. Each day explores a different artist’s style, process, and inspiration — empowering the artists to connect with art history while expressing themselves in unique and meaningful ways. The week ends with a fun Mini Gallery Walk for family. Supplies will be provided. Ages 6-9

Drawing & Painting Studio

Young artists will develop their foundational art skills while learning how to express themselves through drawing and painting. Each day introduces a new concept—shading, perspective, or color blending—paired with fun, age-appropriate projects that encourage personal style and creative confidence. Your artist will explore pencil, ink, watercolor, and acrylic while learning how artists plan, observe, and bring ideas to life on paper and canvas. Perfect for tweens who love to draw, paint, or just get creative! Supplies will be provided. Ages 9-12

Mini Masters: Alma Thomas, Pablo Picasso, Georgia O’Keeffe & Keith Haring

This is a playful, hands-on art class that introduces young artists to famous artists and iconic art styles in a way that sparks creativity and imagination. Each day focuses on a different “master” artist, combining a short, engaging introduction to their life and work with a related art project. Kids will explore color, pattern, shape, texture, and emotion through painting, collage, and more — while developing their own unique artistic voice. At the end of the session, students will participate in a “Mini Masters Gallery Show” to share their creations. Supplies will be provided. Ages 6-9

Watercolor & Acrylic Sampler

This adult painting class offers a creative introduction to two water mediums — watercolor and acrylic — with guided instruction, hands-on experimentation, and personal expression. Partners in Art: Toddlers Paint! Tempera and Texture

Join your toddler for an hour of experimental finger painting on slippery paper! We’ll use sticks, sponges, brushes and more to discover a range of delightful textures and marks. You’ll leave with one or more frame-able pieces of bright and joyful art created by your child. Supplies will be provided. Ages 2-4 with participating adult

Get ready to dive into the vibrant world of Kinusaiga, a captivating Japanese textile art that turns fabric scraps into stunning no-sew “paintings”! You will have the opportunity to be hands-on, as well as learn a fresh, modern twist on the traditional technique—using foam board and your own meaningful fabrics to create richly textured, personal works of art. Whether you are transforming a beloved shirt, that gorgeous scarf you cannot part with, your dad’s old work shirt, or your mom’s favorite blouse, this is a fun, creative way to upcycle and make something truly unforgettable. There is a material fee of $35 due to the instructor on the first day of class. Ages 16-Adult

Live Model: Portrait Painting

Join us for the opportunity to practice the traditional method of portrait painting in oils with a live model! Using a minimal color pallet, we will focus the first day on the oil paint medium and how to achieve flesh like skin tone while studying the correct proportions of the model. The second day we will focus on the shadow shapes and achieving correct value, rendering your artwork life-like. You will leave this class with a better understanding of how to paint the human face. Soulful Strokes: Intuitive Painting on Wooden Panels

In this immersive acrylic art class, you’ll explore your creativity through hands-on exercises in color opposites, layering, and intuitive expression. Working on four canvas panels simultaneously, you’ll develop techniques that bring out movement, depth, and abstract forms. The class combines painting, drawing, and mixed media with moments of self-reflection, offering a holistic, process-focused experience. As you stay present and open to exploration, your own artistic voice will begin to emerge naturally—one layer at a time. Supplies will be provided. Ages 13-16

NEW CRAFT LAB SERIES! Come paint on a wine glass. Enjoy time painting a unique personalized wine glass with a friend or on your own. Students will learn how to paint on a wine glass using acrylic enamel paints, no prior art experience is needed!
