Turner Black

Throughout her life, Turner has worked to build community through the arts. She is currently both a painter and a potter, with ever-present interest in exploring more mediums. She loves to work with color and to bring life and whimsy into all of her work. She knows how important it is to be able to connect with fellow artists and creatives in community, and works to expand these opportunities for her community.

With a passion for unleashing creativity and creating space for exploration through the arts, Turner works to build spaces that allow people to come together in person to play and be expressive.
She loves to create colorful, community murals and works with the community to bring these to life where everyone can play a part in bringing them together.

Turner is colorful and energetic, with a hopeful outlook on the world. She believes that, by working together, we can co-create the world we want to see, one that values creativity and playfulness, and that gives space for all humans to express their unique perspectives.
