Terra Novak
Instructor
Terra defines her own artistic style as contemporary realism with an emphasis in figurative work. Her passion for the traditional painting style led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree at Laguna College of Art and Design.
Terra’s artwork was published in the Laguna Beach Coastline Pilot Newspaper and Southwest Art Magazine. She also had the opportunity to compete on Game Show Network’s Skin Wars, Fresh Paint. Terra has exhibited her work in multiple galleries and festivals. Additionally, she continues as a freelance artist working in Colorado Springs selling to private collectors and most recently a few large murals for small businesses.
Terra is equally as passionate about teaching art and has shared her knowledge by providing private and group lessons to artists of all ages for over ten years. She is continuously overjoyed by the sense of connection and presence art brings with her community and strongly believes in the ability it has to transcend the mind, body and soul.
