Richard Rinker

Richard Rinker is a Colorado native whose early adventures with a simple Kodak Brownie camera sparked a life-long passion for photography as an artistic medium. Richard’s interests include black and white photography and darkroom processes, alternative photographic processes and history of photography. He continues work with film cameras, making gelatin-silver photographic prints in the traditional “wet” darkroom, and to exhibit his work.

Richard has taught photography at Pikes Peak Community College from 2006 to 2016 and at Bemis School of Art since 2012 with a variety of offerings including: Introductory Photo Classes, Black and White Film and Darkroom, Alternative Processes, Landscape Photography and Pinhole Photography.
