Kris Howell

Kris was born in Salinas, California, and moved to Colorado Springs in 2017 from upstate New York. She has loved and made art ever since she could hold a pencil. As a military widow, and mother of three, she has come to know well, the therapeutic benefits of making art. She intends to pursue a degree in art therapy in the spring. As a multimedia artist, she creates in pencil and ink sketches, watercolor, acrylic, collage, fabric, found or recycled items, and the written word. She is elated to create and share her passion for the arts with all students; current and future.
