A recent addition to the Colorado Springs community, Hanna moved here from Dallas where she received her Masters in Fine Art from Texas Woman’s University. While there her studies were focused on ceramics and 3D printing, exploring the intersection between traditional and contemporary forms of artmaking. After graduating she ran a water marbling business in Dallas where she fell in love with the traditional Turkish art of Ebru and its ability to bring communities together.
Her personal artwork utilizes ceramics and 3D printing to explore the intersection between objects, memories, and a sense of place. With a focus on mental health and introspection, she has recently begun exploring different mediums through concepts of grief after the loss of her fiancé in 2022.
