Elizabeth Amacher

Liz Amacher is originally from Virginia and started her creative journey in art at an early age. Her favorite medium is watercolor, and she has been juried into various Colorado watercolor exhibits, as well as the prestigious Western Federation of Watercolor Societies annual exhibition. She has signature status with the Colorado Watercolor Society.
Liz has served in public education for the past 16 years and holds teaching endorsements in Visual Arts and English. She additionally obtained her Principal’s license and continues to work in education as an administrator where she supports and advocates for a comprehensive education in all content areas, especially the arts.
Liz is a lifelong learner in both her career in education and her endeavors as an artist. She believes that there are always new techniques to broaden one’s skills, and she enjoys sharing these strategies with her students.
