Ash Donnelly

Ash Donnelly is a nonbinary artist and craftsperson whose passions for creative and collaborative community engagement are ever-expanding. Originally from the Tristate area, they have served as an art instructor, teacher, and commercial scenic artist in various schools, community centers, and studios for 12 years, working with people of all ages, identities, and abilities.

Ash is a graduate of Pratt Institute with a BFA in Art and Design Education and a minor in Ceramics. Their artistic practices are concentrated in functional/sculptural clay hand-building techniques, porcelain slip-casting, acrylic and watercolor painting, graphite drawing, jewelry-making, metal and glassworking, digital illustration/design, and printmaking. Ash’s art focuses on highlighting the integrity of the natural world and found materials, through common themes of realism, plain air painting, and nature-inspired design.
