Annie Stone

Annie Stone is an artist and educator who works with drawing, textiles, sculpture, and animation to explore how we connect with the natural world and with each other. Her studio practice is rooted in observation, storytelling, and care. She is especially drawn to edges—places where systems overlap—and the space, species, and ideas that flourish there. Annie brings this same spirit into her teaching, creating space for curiosity, reflection, and connection. She encourages students to explore materials, follow their questions, and share their stories. She sees art-making as a way to pay attention—and to find one’s place in the world.
