As a person who has always been interested in processes, clay was the medium that spoke to me and is my passion. There is something about making an impression in the soft surface that nothing matches. I often refer to myself as one who speaks the language of clay fluently and I serve as an interpreter to my students until they become fluent themselves. I have a BA in Art from The George Washington University. After college, I worked at the 92nd Street Y and the Greenwich House of Pottery in NYC. I then spent six months in Grenada West Indies helping open a pottery. Finally, I settled down here in the Colorado Springs area and have been teaching at Bemis School of Art for over 15 years.
