Discover the techniques to inspire creative skills and gain greater self-awareness. Explore possibilities, develop your creativity, and gain personal insight through working with a variety of controllable mediums. Learn therapeutic techniques to heal from past trauma issues. All classes will be virtual.

Au Pair Explorations in Art

This opportunity is exclusively tailored for Au Pairs to earn their state department credit hours. Embark on a voyage of imagination and discovery with the Colorado Springs Fine Art Center – a museum, art school and theater under one roof. Explore a diverse range of artistic mediums, methods, and exciting projects encompassing clay, painting, movement, gallery visits, filmmaking, and a few delightful surprises. We will delve into the galleries of the Fine Arts Center for inspiration and engaging conversations. While some projects will be make-and-take, a few may require later pickup arrangements. Additional projects will be required before and after class in order to receive a certificate of completion for 36 hours/3 credits. Supplies will be provided. Adults

Do you love animals? This course is an introduction to drawing animals of all types. They are all around us and are endlessly fascinating to watch and draw. This course will show you the basics of drawing any animal and help you understand anatomy so that you can confidently draw the animal world. Ages 9-12
