BCP1 Printmaking Workshop: Opening the Doors to Chenoweth

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

Join the Bemis Community Printshop in this free hands-on workshop as we learn about the incredible legacy of Mary Chenoweth’s work in printmaking. Kate Leonard, current Professor of Printmaking at Colorado College, will demonstrate and discuss the relief and intaglio techniques that Mary favored in her artwork. Mary’s colleague and friend, Carl Reed, will be joining the workshop to share reflections on Professor Chenoweth’s legacy and time at Colorado College. The workshop is free and open to all and no experience in printmaking is necessary. Supplies will be provided.
