A93 Plastic Camera Photography
Level A – All levels welcome.
This class is intended as a fun and engaging way to learn about black and white film photography and darkroom techniques using Holga 120N cameras. The Holga is a simple and inexpensive 120 medium format camera with plastic lens, appreciated for its limitations, and imperfections such as vignetting, light leaks, blur, and distortions. After you have been photographing with your Holga camera, you will learn how to develop the film and to create handcrafted gelatin-silver prints from your negatives.
Please note: By signing up for this class, you are agreeing to the Fine Art Center Bemis School of Art’s General Policies and Participant Assumption of Risk and Release, including assumption of risk, release of liability, medical authorization, rules and supervision, and photo and media consent.
