A92 Exploring Mexican Folk Art: Repujado for Spring
Level A – All levels welcome.
Join us with a hands-on approach as we learn the traditional Mexican technique of repujado—metal embossing on flexible tin. Students will explore the history and symbolism behind these designs and create their own embossed metal art inspired by traditional motifs such as calaveras (skulls), marigolds, and sacred hearts. We will have a chance to paint on some bright colors just in time for spring. No prior experience is necessary—just a curiosity for culture and creativity.
