A80 Lost Wax and Jewelry Casting Techniques

Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.

Discover the art and science behind creating stunning, one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces using traditional lost wax casting methods. This hands-on course introduces you to the complete process of jewelry design, from concept to finished product. You’ll learn the fundamentals of wax modeling, mold-making, metal casting, and finishing techniques. We’ll also cover essential skills in gemstone selection and setting, allowing you to bring your custom designs to life with professional detail. Whether you’re interested in fine art jewelry, custom pieces, or small-scale production, this course equips you with the knowledge and experience to design, cast, and finish your own unique creations.
