A74 Date Night: Valentines in Glass on Metal

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

Join us for an evening of discovering the magic of enameling (glass fused to metal)! You’ll learn the technical basics of preparing the copper surface, applying powdered glass using several techniques, and firing the piece for a few minutes, repeating the process to create multiple layers of brilliant colors and images. You’ll leave with one or more valentines or other designs in copper and glass. There is a material fee of $40 per pair due to the instructor on the first day of class.
