A71 From Scraps to Scroll: Creating Paper Collage Scrolls 

Level A – All levels welcome.

Paper scrolls are the oldest forms of books. We will create scrolls by combining papers we prepare ourselves, found papers, scraps, and embellishments such as stamps, inks, pastels, paints. We will roll these materials onto spools, found wood, and bamboo. We will experiment with preparing our own paper by mono printing with Gelli® printing plates. Finish your fabulous Objects D’Arte with ties, buttons, and beads. Please bring your lunch. There is a material fee of $22 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
