A58 Enameling: Exploring Color Tones
Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.
Explore color nuances through mixing or layering and firing a limited selection of opaque and transparent enamels. You will develop your own palette of subtle tones to use in contrast with bright splashes of color. We will explore color in glass fused to metal both to render natural subjects and to express and evoke emotion. There is a material fee of $25 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
