A57 Basics of Charcoals

Level 0 – This class is for the true beginner with no prior experience in the medium.

In this class, you will be taught the basics of drawing using charcoal on paper. You will be shown how to effectively use line, value, composition, linear perspective, and negative/positive space through understandable lessons to train both your eye and hand. With practice and easily comprehensible instruction, you will leave the class with a greater understanding of how to translate the 3D world to 2D drawings on paper.
