A47 Faceting Pottery

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

In this course, you’ll refine your pottery skills and dive into exciting new techniques like faceting. Faceting transforms the surface of your pottery by carving it into striking, geometric shapes—adding bold texture and dimension. You’ll also sharpen your throwing skills as we explore these creative methods to craft unique, eye-catching forms.
