A46 Slab, Coil, & Throw

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

Explore how to throw a no-pain platter on the wheel by laying a thick slab on a bat and adding a fat rope coil for the sides, flange, and lip. Make your own clay stamp and learn how to trim a double foot. Glazing for textures will be taught.
