A43 Wheel Thrown Planters
Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.
Join us as we expand our wheel throwing skills and learn to make our own planters! The core focus will be on standard planters (the planter itself and the plate that holds/catches water) for indoor and outdoor plants. We may delve into other types of planters and techniques such as hanging planters, altered forms (to create square, pentagonal, and hexagonal forms), faceting, or anything else you can think of that you would like to try! This is an excellent course for experimentation and broadening your reservoir of abilities.
