A43 Altered Bowls

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

Don’t be bored with round, get out of round! – Alter, cut, carve, and stamp your wheel thrown bowls. Learn to throw basic bowl forms in preparation for each type of alteration process. Staining and glazing will be taught to suit this project. Be the envy of the party with your own unique functional clay art serving pieces!
