A42 Altered Bowls

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

Don’t be bored with round, get out of round! Alter, curve, cut, carve, split rims, pinch, and stamp your bowls. Learn to throw basic bowl forms in preparation for each type of alteration process. Be the envy of the party with your own unique functional clay bowls! Staining and glazing will be taught to suit this project.
