A38 Sign of the Times: Splendid Sign Lettering

Level A – All levels welcome.

Elevate your message with beautiful lettering on handmade signs for anything from yard sales to exercising free speech. We’ll explore drawn and calligraphic letterforms and design principles such as proportion, space, color, layout, and others for greatest communicative effect. You’ll leave with a toolbox of lettering “tricks of the trade” for making legible, expressive, eye-catching signs. Please bring a sack lunch. There is a material fee of $15 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
