A36 Intermediate Pottery Techniques

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

In this intermediate course we will learn how to refine our skills in order to create a variety of new forms. The focus of this class will be on perfecting our throwing technique and exploring new ones such as, making closed form and regular jars, faceting our ceramic vessels with cheese slicers and wiggle wires, refining our handle making and exploring new forms. Taking at least one beginning class is required before enrolling in this one.
