A34 Intermediate Wheel Throwing

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

Join us for an opportunity to learn how to hone our skills to create a variety of new forms. The focus of this class will be centered around refining our throwing skills, exploring new vessel shapes, jars, and making composite and/or faceted pots. Throwing larger forms is encouraged based on the student’s project idea. The number of demonstrations will be dependent on the variation of projects you wish to accomplish. This could be a demo-heavy course. Taking at least one beginning class is required before enrolling in this one.
