A51 Wheel Thrown Pouring and Spouted Vessels

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.
Explore the art of pouring vessels in this intermediate to advanced ceramics course. We’ll focus on creating pitchers, matcha bowls, sake sets, teapots, ewers, and more. Bring ideas and image references—blending inspiration and personal creativity is encouraged! This class is for those comfortable with handles, bottles, and jars, and interested in composite forms, functionality, and throwing off the hump. Need to brush up on basics? We’ll build from where you are. Expect demos tailored to the group’s interests. Create the forms that excite you most!
