A91 Watercolor Lemons
Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.
In this watercolor class, you will learn how to paint realistic lemons in a bowl with a floral tablecloth background. You will learn how to mix warm and cool tones of yellow paint to create a realistic lemon as well as how to create the lemon rind texture using a simple technique. Finally, you will learn how to produce your own background colors for the tablecloth background. The reference photo and drawing will be emailed to you prior to the class. Please come to the class with the pencil drawing already transferred to your watercolor paper.
