A56 Live Model Portrait Drawing

Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of the medium outside of the classroom.

This workshop will allow you to practice the traditional method of portrait drawing in charcoal with a live model! The first day we will focus on the line drawing and achieving the correct proportions of the model. The second day will focus on adding shadow and value to render our portraits lifelike. Leave this class with some new skills or sharpen your existing skills for a great weekend of portraiture!
