A39 Glazing Demystified

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.
As you may already know, glazes are unpredictable. Whether mixing your own, applying someone else’s, or just trying to figure out what happened, the more glaze knowledge the better. Participants of this class are guided through a variety of deliberate glaze application techniques as the chemistry and alchemy of four different glaze types: raku, oxidation, crystalline, and gas reduction. Supplies will be provided.
