Level I – This class is for those with some familiarity with the medium. This could include informal use of medium outside of the classroom.

One of the most beautiful and haunting paintings in the Fine Arts Center is that of Miss Elsie Palmer painted by the amazing John Singer Sargent. Join us to learn some history behind this painting, John Singer Sargent, some of the basics for capturing a portrait in Sargent style, and the tricks of his oil painting technique. There is a material fee of $35 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
