A108 Easy Steps In Acrylic Painting

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.
Join us in learning new dynamic practices in painting! You’ll learn how to build a successful painting using four foundational steps that simplify the creative process while elevating your results. You’ll begin by choosing your own subject matter—something that excites or inspires you—and bring photographic references to guide your vision. From there, we’ll break down the painting process into approachable stages, covering composition, value, color harmony, and final detail work. Whether you’re drawn to landscapes, portraits, still life, or abstraction, you’ll have the freedom to explore your unique artistic voice. With personalized guidance and room to grow in your own direction, this class offers both structure and creative independence—ideal for anyone ready to deepen their painting practice and make meaningful, original work.
