A61 Dirty Dyeing with Fiber Reactive and Acid Dye

Level A – All levels welcome.

You will be introduced to the fundamentals of coloring fabric and wool skeins with a dye bath. The process allows for a free and flexible approach to color while teaching the step-by-step method of safely handling synthetic dyes. This serves as an excellent primer to immersion dyeing. There might be a brief intermission, so please bring snacks and beverages to maintain energy levels. There is a material fee of $20 due to the instructor on the first day of class.
