A35 Contemplative Calligraphy

Level II – This class is for those who have taken at least one class in the medium. Students should be comfortable with the basics of how to use and manipulate the medium.

Experience calligraphy as a wellness and meditative practice. Writing primarily in any calligraphic style you already know, our focus will be on the process itself, although finished pieces may emerge. Through gesture, sense of touch, breath, and rhythmic vitality, we will allow the act of writing to open us to quiet awareness.
