Y9 Colorful Wooden Sculptures

Create animal sculptures inspired by the Oaxaca-painted animal figurines of Mexico. You will learn about color theory, rhythm, repetition, and how to mix colors. You will then apply these skills to a variety of projects including painting, pattern making, and sculpture. Sculptures will be made with wood in the shape of an animal or something else of your choosing. Supplies will be provided.
