Talented in Art Program

Congratulations! Your child has been recommended for the D-11 Talented in Art Program in partnership with the Bemis School of Art for the Spring 2020 session. Select 3rd through 5th and 6th through 8th grade students are invited to take a class at the Bemis School of Art or any of the participating satellite schools.

Designed as a unique experience to enhance your student’s knowledge, understanding, and ability to do art. All courses include lecture, interactive projects and visual and written resources. Click the links below for complete course details.  Please note, there is no district transportation available, but students are welcome to register for any of the locations. All classes will conclude with the Talented in Art Reception and display at Bemis School of Art, 818 Pelham Place on Friday, May 1, 2020 from 4-5:30 p.m.

All courses cost $125. The price includes an eight-week course and most necessary art materials, unless otherwise noted. There are limited scholarship funds available for students on free & reduced lunch.
