Louise Cutler is a Fort Collins based Creationist, artist, vocalist, writer and sculptor. Her work is motivated by her desire to create beauty that cultivates truth, peace and tranquility. She considers one’s art an extension of one’s life. Her work, whether painting, drawing, writing, gardening, or performing is a visual or written translation of her life, feelings. People she has encountered, places she has been, and things she has seen. She was selected in 2014 as one of Art Business News’ Top Emerging Artists. Her work was featured in the ABN 2014 issue as well as appeared in several issues of Art World News in 2018 and 2019 and April 2021 issue of Edge Of Faith Magazine and Beyond Words Magazine.
Ms. Cutler’s work is known for its profound visual narrative and simplistic elegance that reveals the invisible within the visible.
She has traveled internationally extensively to such places as Niger Africa , Istanbul Turkey to visit the Blue Mosque, Ephesus, and Cappadocia. To Vienna’s Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien and the Enter Bosch at The Paintings Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, Slovakia. In Egypt she visited the Egyptian Museum, the pyramids, the Bedouin people and Alexandria. Spent time in India Old Delhi, Agra, Mumbai, London’s National Gallery, StoneHenge and the Tate Gallery. While In Paris she visited The Louvre and the Musée Marmottan Monet. She visited the Vatican, The Galleria Borghese and many of the churches in search of artist treasures in Rome. Her greatest desire as an artist is to see all the great masters work she has ever read about or studied in school. Her travels have shaped her view of life and how she views society.
Ms. Cutler has several projects on the table at the moment. One of her paintings is in London for the second round of Jurying for the Royal Academy of London’s Summer Exhibit. As of late she has turned her focus on the black cultural experience in her art and community. She is currently the creator and founder of The Beauty Of Blackness Fine Art show. The show features Black/African American Artists. It is in its second year presenting in Fort Collins Colorado. Ms. Cutler is also working with the Fort Collins Museum Of Art on an Exhibit of All Black /African American Art to be on display in July of 2022.
