Laura Raborn’s paintings have been exhibited in Arkansas, the U.S. and the Bahamas and are in multiple collections such as the CARTI Collection, the Arkansas Children’s Hospital and the Bill and Hillary Clinton private collection. Her work has earned numerous awards and she has a thriving portrait commission business, one of which was presented to the former Governor of Arkansas, Mike Beebe. Raborn and her artwork have appeared in publications such as “Women Make Arkansas: Conversations with 50 Creatives” and “Untold Arkansas: An Anthology,” books written and published by Erin Wood at Et Alia Press. After receiving a B.A. from Rollins College, Raborn worked in marketing for six years and took evening classes at the Arkansas Arts Center. Later, at UA Little Rock, she earned her Masters in Art with a focus on Painting, during which time she worked as a Graduate Assistant for the esteemed Dr. Floyd Martin.
