Jade Belanger

Jade Belanger is a lifelong artist and advocate for using art as a tool of communication and spreading knowledge. She received her BA in Studio Art with a focus in Ceramics, and her MS in Art Education with a focus in Socially Engaged Art both from Florida State University. She has spent the last three years after college in the art education field working at museums and teaching art in K-12 schools in Colorado.
She loves to make artwork of all mediums, explore nature, see live music, and garden in her free time. She embraces a class environment of collective creativity, freedom of expression, and STEAM-based arts. Her goal is that every student leaves her courses believing they can be an artist in their own unique way. She also hopes to inspire her students to use art to make a positive impact in their lives, and the community around them.
